Your Photography Approach
Since all of our projects are so unique we might end up taking a different approach with each. But we do have some fundamentals that always stay the same. This makes it easy for everyone to stay on the same page and just generally helps the shoots to go as smoothly as possible.
Getting To Know What You Need
We’ll start by chatting through what you’re hoping to achieve, where the images will be used, and the kind of style you’re drawn to. This helps shape the direction of the shoot and makes sure we’re on the same page from the beginning.
Planning The Shoot
Once we’ve got a clear idea of what you need, we’ll start pulling everything together. We’ll start working on locations and timing to the kind of shots we want to capture and any specific ideas or styles you like.
The Shoot Itself
On the day, we’ll guide you through everything at a relaxed pace. We won’t put any pressure on you and we’ll help with direction where needed and also step back when moments are happening naturally.
Choosing & Editing
After the shoot, we go through everything and select the strongest photos. From there, we edit each image carefully to match the style we discussed and make sure everything feels consistent and polished.
Sending Your Photos
Once everything is ready, you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and use your images however you need - whether that’s for your website, social media, or marketing.

At our core we want all of our photography to feel authentic rather than overly staged or forced. We put in the extra effort to understand the subject, understand the purpose of the shoot, and create imagery that reflects both in a natural and visually compelling way.
We work across a wide range of photography styles, including personal branding, lifestyle shoots, corporate photography, events, and creative campaigns. While each project is different, we put the same effort into creating images that feel honest, professional, and visually strong.
We believe the best photography happens when people feel comfortable, guided where necessary, and free to be themselves in front of the camera.
North & Co Brand Refresh Shoot
North & Co Studio approached us to create a new set of brand images for their website, marketing campaigns, and social media presence. Their existing photography felt inconsistent and did not fully reflect the premium nature of their services.
The goal of the shoot was to create a cohesive visual identity that felt modern, professional, and approachable while still maintaining a strong commercial edge.
We developed a simple but structured shoot plan focused on natural lighting, clean compositions, and a mix of lifestyle and portrait imagery that could be used across multiple platforms.
The final collection gave the brand a refreshed visual identity and a consistent library of content that could be used across all digital touchpoints.

USER DISCLAIMER (Please Delete): This agreement may not be suitable for your circumstances and we recommend you seek legal advice before using it. Better Proposals does not take any responsibility for any events that arise as a result of your use of this agreement.

This document confirms the details, scope, and terms of the photography services agreed between both parties.

A booking fee is required to secure the photography session date and is payable upon signing this agreement. The remaining balance is due no later than [# DAYS] before the shoot date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For certain projects, payment terms may be adjusted depending on scope and project structure.
Scope of Work
This agreement covers photography services and delivery of edited digital images as outlined in the agreed package.
Any additional services requested outside of the agreed scope (including extra shoot time, additional locations, or extended editing) may be quoted separately.
Collaboration & Preparation
A successful shoot relies on good communication and preparation.
The Client agrees to provide any relevant information, references, brand materials, or guidance needed to support the shoot.
Where applicable, the Photographer may provide direction on styling, location choices, shot ideas, or preparation to help achieve the best possible outcome.
The Client also agrees to be available and responsive during the planning phase to ensure the shoot can be properly prepared.
Image Delivery
Final edited images will be delivered via a private online gallery unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery timelines may vary depending on the scope of the project, but estimated turnaround will be communicated in advance.
Copyright & Usage
Copyright of all images remains with the Photographer.
The Client is granted usage rights for personal or agreed commercial use of delivered images, as outlined in the scope of the project.
Images may not be sold, transferred, or sublicensed to third parties without prior written consent.
Social Media Usage
The Client is welcome to share delivered images on social media, provided they are not altered beyond basic resizing or cropping.
Where possible, credit to the Photographer is appreciated when images are shared online.
Images must not have watermarks removed or be edited with filters that significantly alter the original work.
Model Release
The Client grants the Photographer permission to use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
This helps the Photographer showcase their work and attract future clients.
Cancellation & Booking Fee
The booking fee is non-refundable as it reserves the Photographer’s time and availability for the agreed date.
If the Client cancels or postpones the shoot, any additional terms regarding rescheduling or fees will be agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Terms
Payments are to be made via [PAYMENT METHOD].
Full payment terms will be confirmed on the invoice unless otherwise stated in this agreement.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, extreme weather, natural disasters, or technical failures.
In such cases, both parties will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the shoot where possible.
Entire Agreement
This agreement represents the full understanding between both parties and supersedes any prior discussions or correspondence.
By signing below, both parties confirm they understand and agree to the terms outlined in this document.
