This proposal outlines everything included, how we work, and what you can expect throughout the experience. We’re incredibly excited about the possibility of being part of your wedding day.

Some couples have been together for over a decade, while others simply knew very early on they had found their person. Some weddings are huge celebrations surrounded by hundreds of guests, while others are intimate gatherings focused only on the people who matter most.

Our goal is always to document the day as it naturally unfolds while capturing the atmosphere, emotions, and relationships that make your wedding uniquely yours. The smaller moments often become just as meaningful as the big ones, and we believe the best photographs are usually the ones that feel genuine rather than forced.

Long after the flowers are gone and the music fades out, your photographs become the way you revisit the memories that made the day unforgettable.

We believe wedding photography should feel relaxed, natural, and enjoyable from start to finish. We know that most couples are not professional models, and honestly, they shouldn’t have to be. The best photographs happen when people feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves. That’s why we focus on creating an experience that feels calm, easy-going, and unobtrusive while still making sure every important moment is captured beautifully.

Over the years, we’ve photographed weddings of all sizes and styles, from intimate countryside ceremonies to large multi-day celebrations. No matter the setting we try to capture real moments, real emotions, and all the little details that make your day personal to you. More than anything, we want you to enjoy your wedding day without constantly feeling like you’re being pulled away for photos.

Our photography style focuses on genuine moments, natural emotions, and timeless storytelling. Throughout the day, we take a documentary-style approach for the majority of coverage, stepping in with gentle direction when needed while allowing moments to happen naturally. This helps create photographs that feel relaxed and emotional.

We also understand that every couple is different. Some love being in front of the camera, while others feel nervous about it, which is completely normal. Our role is to create an environment where you feel comfortable and able to enjoy the day without pressure.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

Most couples book between 6-18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season dates. We recommend securing your date as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Absolutely. We’re available for local weddings, destination weddings, and multi-day celebrations. Travel and accommodation costs may apply depending on the location.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

Preview images are typically delivered within 7 days, with full wedding galleries delivered within 4-8 weeks depending on the season and coverage.

DO YOU HELP WITH POSING?

Of course. We provide gentle direction where needed while keeping everything feeling natural and relaxed. Most couples tell us they were worried about being awkward in photos, but quickly forgot the camera was even there.

CAN WE CUSOTMISE A PACKAGE?

Absolutely. Every wedding is different, and packages can be tailored based on coverage hours, locations, additional events, albums, and specific requirements.

A COASTAL WEDDING CELEBRATION

Emma & Daniel wanted their wedding to feel relaxed, intimate, and focused on spending quality time with family and friends rather than turning the day into a long photoshoot.

Their coastal ceremony took place just before sunset, creating an incredibly soft and natural atmosphere throughout the evening. We focused on documenting the day as it unfolded naturally, capturing emotional reactions, candid interactions, and all the small in-between moments that often become the most meaningful later on.

From the ‘getting ready’ moments during morning preparations to the packed dance floor late into the evening, the final photos make you feel like you’re still at the wedding.

YOUR INVESTMENT

Your wedding photographs are one of the few things that remain long after the day itself has passed. Your photographs become the memories you return to for decades to come. We believe in creating a seamless experience from start to finish while delivering timeless photos that reflect your day and the people who shared it with you.

We would absolutely love to be part of your wedding day and capture these memories for you.
If you would like to move forward, you just need to follow the next steps:

STEP 1

Review the proposal and select the collection that best suits your wedding day, coverage needs, and plans for the celebration.

STEP 2

Once you’ve confirmed you’d like to proceed, simply sign the proposal to reserve your wedding date. At this stage, your date will be placed on hold while we begin the booking process.

STEP 3

After your booking is confirmed, we will be in touch to collect all remaining details needed to finalise your reservation. This includes your wedding timeline, venue information, contact details, and any key moments you’d like us to focus on throughout the day.

We’ll also schedule a planning call to walk through everything together, answer any questions, and make sure your photography plan fits into your wedding schedule.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

USER DISCLAIMER (Please Delete): This agreement may not be suitable for your circumstances and we recommend you seek legal advice before using it. Better Proposals does not take any responsibility for any events that arise as a result of your use of this agreement.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

A signed agreement and a non-refundable booking fee are required to secure your wedding date. Once both have been received, your date will be reserved exclusively for you.

Wedding bookings are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis and are only secured once the booking fee has been paid and the agreement has been signed.

The remaining balance is due prior to the wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment plans may be available upon request.

COVERAGE & TIMING

Coverage will begin and end at the times agreed in this proposal. Any additional time requested on the day will be charged at the agreed hourly rate, subject to availability.

The Photographer will do their best to capture all key moments; however, this may be influenced by timing, lighting conditions, venue restrictions, weather, and guest cooperation.

CLIENT COOPERATION

A successful wedding shoot relies on good communication and coordination.

The Client agrees to provide a schedule of the day and notify the Photographer of any key moments in advance (such as speeches, first dance, ceremonies, or special surprises).

Where necessary, the Photographer may request assistance in organising group photographs. While every effort will be made to capture all requested guests and moments, the Photographer cannot be held responsible for missed photographs due to timing, movement, or guest availability.

EDITING & STYLE

By booking Works, the Client confirms they have viewed and are familiar with the Photographer’s style and portfolio.

All images will be edited in the Photographer’s signature style. Final editing decisions, including colour grading and image selection, remain at the Photographer’s discretion to ensure consistency across the final gallery.

DELIVERY

Preview images will typically be delivered within a few days after the wedding, with the full gallery delivered within the agreed timeframe (usually 4–8 weeks depending on season and workload).

Images will be delivered via a private online gallery unless otherwise stated.

COPYRIGHT & USAGE

All images remain the copyright of the Photographer.

The Client is granted personal usage rights for printing, sharing, and non-commercial use of their wedding photographs.

Images may not be sold, altered beyond basic cropping/resizing, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

SOCIAL MEDIA

The Client is welcome to share images on social media.

When sharing, credit to Works is appreciated where possible. Images should not be significantly altered, filtered, or edited in a way that changes the Photographer’s original work.

Watermarks must not be removed from any preview or proof images provided.

CANCELLATION

The booking fee is non-refundable as it secures the wedding date and prevents the Photographer from accepting other bookings.

If the wedding is cancelled, any additional payments made up to that point will be handled according to the cancellation terms agreed in writing.

If the wedding is postponed, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

MODEL RELEASE

The Client grants the Photographer permission to use selected images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This allows the Photographer to showcase their work and maintain a portfolio for future couples.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

In the unlikely event of illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, the Photographer will make reasonable efforts to secure a replacement photographer where possible.

If this is not possible, liability is limited to a full or partial refund of payments received.

While every effort is made to ensure images are safely stored and backed up, the Photographer is not liable for loss of images due to circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases, liability is limited to a refund of fees paid.

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, illness, accidents, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, both parties will work together in good faith to reschedule where possible.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This agreement represents the full understanding between both parties and supersedes any prior discussions or correspondence.

By signing this agreement, both parties confirm they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined above.
