PROJECT OVERVIEW

This project involves the design and development of a new website for the {{company_name}}. The clients' current site requires an urgent design refresh, yet the CRM must remain easy to use as several users will need to access the site and regularly upload content (preferably using WordPress).  Another problem they are experiencing is a poor display of the website across different browsers, especially mobiles and tablets.

The tasks required to complete this project will follow the outlined timelines and deliver the components at the agreed price listed in this statement. 

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

This project will achieve the following objectives:

OBJECTIVE 1:

Design a clean, modern e-commerce website that delivers a seamless and engaging user experience.

OBJECTIVE 2:

Ensure the site CRM is highly functional yet easy to use so various users may upload content.

OBJECTIVE 3:

Set up a WordPress integration so that regular blog posts can be posted.

PROJECT SCOPE

1. WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

The theme presented in this proposal will be the base for the design of the website.  Design work will be done in Photoshop and sign off will be required before proceeding to development.

3. HOST AND DOMAIN SETUP

If hosting is required, it will be sourced and set up for the requested domain. For the maintenance of the account, {{company_name}} will be responsible after the project.

PROJECT TASKS

TASK 1: SITE DESIGN AND CONTENT ENTRY

The content provided to us will be entered onto the site pages. This will include text and pictures for each page that will be created with the initial setup.

TASK 2: WORDPRESS INSTALLATION AND SETUP

The CMS on the domain mentioned above will be set up and installed so that {{company_name}} can maintain the site.

TASK 3: BROWSER TESTING

The site will be tested to make sure it works with modern desktop web browsers. The site will also be tested to ensure it looks properly when viewed on mobile devices.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

The scope of this project is limited to the above-listed items and tasks. Any additional items will be counted as out of scope, and may only be added with separate authorization and approval from {{company_name}}.

Extra items may only be added through the use of separate SOWs.

DELIVERABLES

The following deliverables will be associated with this project:

DELIVERABLE 1: WEBSITE DESIGN

Once your brief is sent to the designer, we will deliver two draft website design concepts within 2 weeks. One must be chosen for further development. We will allow one round of editing before the digital signoff is required and we move forward to building the site.

DELIVERABLE 2: DRAFT VERSION OF SITE

Once we have been provided with the content for the site, we will load it on and the testing can begin. Digital sign off will be required before moving on to the staging site.

DELIVERABLE 3: DRAFT VERSION OF SITE

Once final testings and edits are complete, the site will be deployed to the {{company_name}}'s domain at XYZ. We will then require the final sign off and the following components will be delivered.

COMPONENTS

The following components will be associated with this project:

COMPONENT 1: WEBSITE ACCOUNT AND LOGIN DETAILS

Account and login details will be set up for one admin-level who can then create further accounts for the user level. We will organize a 30 min training on this matter. 

COMPONENT 2: SITE BACKUP

A hard backup copy of the files associated with the site will be delivered upon completion to the {{company_name}} on a USB stick, as well as backed up to [XYZ ] location.

COMPONENT 3: TRAINING DOCUMENTS

A reference document outlining how to make updates to the site along with a link to online resources will be emailed upon completion of the site.

All invoices are inclusive of 12.5% VAT.
