PROJECT OVERVIEW

This project involves the development and installation of a custom new piece of web-based software for use by [client name].

The scope and tasks required to complete this project will follow the timelines outlined in this document, in order to deliver the components at the associated costs listed.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES 

This project has been proposed to achieve the following objectives:

PROJECT SCOPE

1. SOFTWARE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

Following the brief a new software system will be developed to ensure that it meets all of the listed requirements in the brief and has the capability to fully integrate with the existing IT system.

3. HOST AND DOMAIN SETUP

If hosting is required, hosting will be sourced and set up for the requested domain. Maintenance of the account will fall to [Client Name] at the conclusion of the project.

PROJECT TASKS

The tasks required to achieve the scope as described above are as follows:

TASK 1: EMAIL SYSTEM DESIGN

A new system will be designed and sign off will be required before proceeding to coding stages. 

TASK 2: NEW EMAIL INSTALLATION AND SETUP

The email system will be set up and installed so that [Client Name] is able to send and monitor email campaigns. 

TASK 3: BROWSER TESTING

The entire email system will be tested to make sure it works and fully integrates with the site and will also be tested to ensure it does not break when viewed on mobile devices.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

The scope of this project are limited to the above listed items and tasks. Any additional items will be counted as out of scope, and may only be added with separate authorisation and approval from [CLIENT]. 

Extra items may only be added through the use of separate SOWs.

Deliverables

The following Deliverables will be associated with this project:

DELIVERABLE 1: WEBSITE DESIGN

Following your brief being sent to the designer, we will deliver two draft website design concepts within 2 weeks. One must be chosen for further development. We will allow for one round of editing before digital signoff is required to move forward to building the site.

DELIVERABLE 2: DRAFT VERSION OF SITE

Once we have been provided with the content for the site, this will be loaded in and testing can begin. Digital sign off will be required before deploying to the Staging Site.

DELIVERABLE 3: DRAFT VERSION OF SITE

Once final testing and edits are complete, the site will be deployed to the [CLIENT NAME] domain at XYZ. We will then require final sign off and the following components will be delivered.

COMPONENTS

The following Components will be associated with this project:

COMPONENT 1: WEBSITE ACCOUNT AND LOGIN DETAILS

Account and Login details will be set up for 1 Admin level who can then create further accounts at User level.  An explanation and 30 mins training on this will be given. 

COMPONENT 2: SITE BACKUP

A hard backup copy of the files associated with the site will be delivered on completion to the client on a USB stick, as well as backed up to [XYZ ] location.

COMPONENT 3: TRAINING DOCUMENTS

A reference document outlining how to make updates to the site along with a link to online resources will be emailed on completion of the site. 

PROJECT ASSUMPTIONS

This agreement is based on the following assumptions:
