Handwritten Digital Signatures

Allow your clients to sign off proposals and contracts by typing or drawing their signature.

As one of the leading proposal software tools, Better Proposals had the digital signature option since day one. Both the European Union and the US Congress adopted legislation recognizing the enforceability of electronic signatures a long time ago, which makes all of your documents signed through our online proposal tool legally binding.

“How does that work?”

Real simple - your clients can sign proposals and other business documents by just typing their name in the signature block. By doing this, they agree that their typed name can be used as a digital representation of their signature, and agree to the terms set out in the document.

“Looks nice, but that's not actually a written signature mate.”

Not to worry - although the document is completely legally valid even when the client just types their name on their keyboard in our signature block, we understand you might prefer the look and feel of a hand written signature.

Following this idea, we refreshed our signature options and from this moment onwards, your prospects can choose whether they’d like to just type their names or actually draw their signatures on screens. Not only will this give you an option to speed up the overall signing process, but it will also offer a cool experience to your potential client. Modern times require modern solutions, and your clients will love this one.

As you can see in the image below, clients will see two tabs on their signature block (“type” and “sign”), and be able to choose the one they like the most.

Long story short - it’s best to sign up / log in and test our signature options yourself. :)
