When it comes to HoneyBook and proposal templates, you'll have to put in much more work to give them a wow factor. Aside from having to create your own templates, the way they're saved in your account can sometimes be confusing.

For example, each of your proposals needs to be associated with a Project. This means you'll first need to find or create a project that requires a proposal, then modify or create a template, and finally send it. And if you want to use that template again in the future, you'll also need to remember which Project it was originally connected to. From Hubspot and Salesforce to Zoho, we've made sure all your favorite tools are at your disposal. HoneyBook, on the other hand, doesn't offer any CRM integrations, meaning you'll need to input all your data manually.

Project management integrations

On our list of over 40 integrations, Better Proposals also offers a variety of project management tools. That's because we know that, no matter the size of your team, it's important that everyone stays on the same page. And while HoneyBook claims to help you keep track of all your projects in one place, they don't integrate with project management tools. With HoneyBook, that means upgrading to their Essentials plan at $39/month. However, you can’t add as many users as you want. If your team grows to more than three (including you), that means another upgrade to their Premium plan at $79/month.

With Better Proposals, you can start collaborating with team members on our Premium plan at $29/month. There’s no limit to how many users you can add, so you can use it as long as it still works for you. And if you do decide to upgrade to our highest plan, it’s $49/month.

If you switch to annual pricing, the difference is even more evident. On an annual subscription, you’re saving more with Better Proposals than you are with HoneyBook. Paid annually, Better Proposals plans start at $13/month, whereas HoneyBook’s start at $16. In addition to that, we offer a free trial no matter where you're from, whereas HoneyBook only allows it for those based in the USA and Canada.

Payment integrations

With HoneyBook, things aren't that simple. While they do allow you to collect payment through their QuickBooks integration, there are some limitations. For example, you can't integrate QuickBooks Self-Employed, QuickBooks Desktop or multiple QuickBooks accounts. So, if you don't use a version of QuickBooks that's supported, you'll need to use another tool to collect payment.
