Better Proposals gives you access to more than 250 templates that you can easily customize. Note that we're not only talking design here - all of our proposal templates also come pre-written. And if you're as big on customization as we are, you can also create a custom domain to send your proposals from. That way, you get proposal analytics which let you know when your proposal was received, opened, read, printed, forwarded and signed. In addition to that, your clients will instantly know that the proposal is coming directly from you.

With Plutio, you’re getting a grand total of eight proposal templates. Since their templates are a mix between user-generated and created by their team, the quality varies, so you’ll spend more time looking for the one for you. While this may seem like a minor problem at first, it will make your proposal creation process more time-consuming.

Pricing

While both of our lowest plans start at $19/month, businesses that need more than one user will get more value for their money with Better Proposals. Compared to Plutio’s Studio plan at $39 month, our Premium plan is both $10 less and includes custom branding. With Plutio, you can either stay on Studio and pay an additional $9/month to remove their branding or upgrade to their Agency plan at $99/month.

And even if you opt for annual pricing, you’ll save more with Better Proposals. While Plutio does offer annual pricing, they’ll take two months of your subscription off. Better Proposals takes off up to 35% depending on the plan you choose. This means that, on an annual subscription, Plutio’s lowest plan will set you back $190, while Better Proposals’ lowest plan is $149.

Integrations

If you were hoping to connect all your favorite tools to your proposal software, Better Proposals might be the way to go. With our 40+ integrations, it's almost impossible not to find what you're looking for. Plutio, on the other hand, offers only eight integrations.

While we both offer PayPal and Stripe integrations, Better Proposals also integrates with GoCardless. Since GoCardless is a direct debit provider, you don't have to wait for your clients to send you money. Instead, the payment is collected directly from their bank account. That way, you can spend less time chasing payments and more time doing what you're good at.

Conclusion

While Plutio is a good solution for freelancers, it might not be the best option for scaling up as your team grows.
